The Best Dairy Free Mylk

Homemade Nut Mylk

Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup almonds
  • ¼ cup gluten-free oats
  • ¼ cup coconut flakes
  • ¼ cup white rice
  • 1 tablespoon flax seeds
  • 1 packet of Maddie's Natural Sweetener
  • A pinch of salt
  • 4 cups filtered water (adjust for desired consistency)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Rinse the almonds, oats, coconut flakes, and white rice under cold water to remove any impurities.
  2. Soak the almonds, oats, coconut flakes, white rice, and flax seeds in a bowl of water for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to soften.
  3. Drain and rinse the soaked ingredients, then transfer them to a blender.
  4. Add 4 cups of filtered water, Maddie's Natural Sweetener, and a pinch of salt to the blender.
  5. Blend on high speed for 2-3 minutes, or until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  6. Strain the mixture using a nut milk bag or fine mesh strainer to remove the solids.
  7. Pour the nut mylk into a clean bottle or jar and refrigerate. Shake well before serving.
