Homemade Nut Mylk
Ingredients:
- ¼ cup almonds
- ¼ cup gluten-free oats
- ¼ cup coconut flakes
- ¼ cup white rice
- 1 tablespoon flax seeds
- 1 packet of Maddie's Natural Sweetener
- A pinch of salt
- 4 cups filtered water (adjust for desired consistency)
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract (optional)
Instructions:
- Rinse the almonds, oats, coconut flakes, and white rice under cold water to remove any impurities.
- Soak the almonds, oats, coconut flakes, white rice, and flax seeds in a bowl of water for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to soften.
- Drain and rinse the soaked ingredients, then transfer them to a blender.
- Add 4 cups of filtered water, Maddie's Natural Sweetener, and a pinch of salt to the blender.
- Blend on high speed for 2-3 minutes, or until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Strain the mixture using a nut milk bag or fine mesh strainer to remove the solids.
- Pour the nut mylk into a clean bottle or jar and refrigerate. Shake well before serving.
