Hot Cocoa

Dairy-Free Hot Cocoa

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups coconut milk (full-fat for creaminess)
  • 2 tablespoons organic cacao powder
  • 2 sticks Maddie's Natural Sweetener
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon espresso powder
  • Optional: Coco whipped cream

Instructions:

  1. In a small pot, gently heat the coconut milk over medium heat until warm but not boiling.
  2. Add the organic cacao powder, Maddie's Natural Sweetener, espresso powder, and a pinch of salt to the pot, whisking until smooth and fully combined.
  3. Stir in the vanilla extract, blending well to infuse the cocoa with its warm, aromatic essence.
  4. Continue to heat the mixture, stirring constantly, until it is hot and silky.
  5. Pour the hot cocoa into a mug, and if desired, crown it with a fluffy top of coco whip.
  6. Serve immediately, diving into a luxurious escape of rich, vanilla-kissed chocolate delight.
